St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking a RN - Transport Nurse to join our Air St. Luke's team.
Requires substantial specialized knowledge, judgment and skill based upon the principles of biological, physiological, behavioral, and sociological sciences of all patient populations
Supervises paramedics in the transport and care of critically ill or wounded patients at the scene and/or during the flight.
Provides professional nursing services in the assessment, treatment and care of patients during transport. Will assess acute changes in patient conditions and respond with appropriate intervention.
Uses critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care.
Works as a member of an independent or collaborative team using protocols or with the guidance of on-line medical control.
Works in conjunction with a transport paramedic or a respiratory therapist to meet the needs of patients.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
3 years’ RN experience in a critical care and/or emergency department
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider Certification
Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
Current Valid Driver's License
