Position Overview

Soundstripe is looking for a Creative Coordinator to support and organize our Marketing department’s production activities, including but not limited to film production, photo shoots, podcast sessions, and live events. Reporting to our Creative Director, Jonathan Frazier, this position will serve as the coordinator for the Marketing team’s creative objectives and calendar of events. Energetic and adaptable, our ideal Creative Coordinator will thrive within an agile team of Marketing creatives, helping to bring process and project management, logistics, planning, and administrative support to the fast-paced world of Soundstripe’s creative productions.

Responsibilities

As Creative Coordinator, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Supporting productions and events with Soundstripe’s marketing team, to include: managing calendars and scheduling, planning and coordinating all logistics, including day-of needs, maintaining production schedules for Soundstripe employees and vendors, arranging travel associated with productions and events, supervising production assistants and directing their activities
Participating in short- and long-term planning aligned with goals set by Marketing Leadership
Working with and handling communication between all departments that contribute to Marketing’s production efforts
Paying invoices and maintaining the creative budget, keeping Soundstripe’s Creative Director up-to-date and informed of expected expenses
Maintaining the creative team master calendar with all known events, productions, and major deadlines
Assisting with the planning of Marketing’s offsites and events
Anticipating macro and micro needs of the department to help strategize with Marketing Leadership upcoming schedules and priorities

Qualifications

Requirements

2-5 years experience in project management, administrative support, or a related field.

Project management certification is a plus!

Experience managing contract and vendor relationships.

Experience planning and executing events.

Understanding of set production with experience working on-set to support talent, producers, and filmmakers.

Written & Verbal Communication

As Creative Coordinator, strong communication will be key. Successful support of production and events, calendar and vendor management, and budget reporting will require constant collaboration, clear direction, and robust reporting. Relationships will be built and sustained between the Creative team, Marketing Leadership, and Soundstripe’s vendors through clear, concise, supportive and professional written and verbal communication.

Strong Organization & Ability to Multitask

Demonstrating a core strength of organization and building structure and a success path where none currently exists, will be important for this position. A strong ability to multitask and prioritize competing project management demands will be required for success as Creative Coordinator.

Technical Skills

Technical understanding and the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and platforms is as important as interpersonal and organizational strengths in this role. Soundstripe’s Content Marketing Specialist will be required to operate within the following software and applications (and more):

Google Suite

Asana

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

Experience with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or HubSpot
