ERM is hiring a Contract Recruiterfor the ERM Flexforce Program to work closely with our national Recruiting and HR team. In this role, you will support recruiting activities for a dynamic and high-performance consulting organization with over 60 offices across North America. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, a master of prioritization and is able to shift gears at a moment’s notice. The ideal candidate is passionate about the company they represent, is self-driven to find that perfect match, and invests in developing relationships with senior leaders, team members, and candidates alike. A high degree of creativity, perseverance, business acumen, and professionalism are required.

  • Support the Flexforce Program recruitment function across ERM’s North America region by driving full-life cycle recruiting process for varying positions.
  • Actively target, attract, engage and develop relationships with hourly and salaried prospects/candidates in our key markets across North America
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing channels to build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for projected and future hiring needs, ensuring that the pipeline is filled with strong, suitable candidates.
  • Maintain rigor in selection & assessment practices ensuring that appropriate tools are used to support the hiring decision making process, and skills development takes place as needed with hiring managers and interviewers.
  • Develop, implement and actively monitor an effective strategic recruitment lifecycle ensuring an excellent experience for both the hiring manager, as well as successful and unsuccessful candidates.
  • Coordinate work cross-functionally and share candidates and market intelligence with recruiting colleagues where a potential fit exists.
  • Drive a rigorous approach to process ensuring that ERM’s eRecruitment platform / ATS is used for reporting and audit purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policy and local employment legislation relevant to recruiting activities.


  • 3 to 10+ years proven recruiting experience successfully executing a variety of searches nationally; Bachelors’ degree preferred.
  • Solid track record in delivering specialist / niche hiring within a corporate environment. Experiencerecruiting for professional services / consulting model with an understanding of environmental and sustainability industries, engineering or other technical disciplines.
  • Knowledge and experience in a wide range of current recruiting policies, practices, and trends, and sourcing strategies. Advanced internet research experience and experience using social media and networking to engage and maintain candidate pools.
  • Strong relationship building skills; ability to develop trusted adviser relationships at a senior level, internally and with candidates; excellent stakeholder management skills,
  • Experience with comprehensive Applicant Tracking Systems and/or Recruiting CRM systems (WorkDay) and the reporting of KPI measures and metrics, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organization, time management, verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality and good professional judgement
  • Proven ability to produce accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced work environment, as well as to work under pressure efficiently with rapidly changing priorities.
