Do you enjoy playing Battleship or Monopoly? As dispatch coordinator for the Skip San Francisco team, you will lead the field team of Fleet Drivers (in vans) and Scouts (on foot or scooters). You will have the opportunity to develop valuable operating skills in a fast-paced, collaborative, and mission-driven company.
Skip's mission is to energize cities by making mobility accessible to everyone. We believe this requires designing every aspect of a micromobility network from the ground up. This includes custom vehicle hardware, the software-defined fleet management system, and ground operations for safety and recharging. Our success will make it easier for everyone to work, play, and connect in their communities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Lead Fleet Drivers and Scouts through a variety of messaging apps and radios during a daily shift
Prioritize and direct recovery, transport, and inspection requests of scooters
Manage team of Fleet Drivers through check-in and dispatch during your shift
Create daily action plan and communicate priorities to Fleet Drivers
Triage field requests from Operations and send Driver or Scout to address
Manage team schedules to ensure adequate coverage
Assist Fleet Drivers with emergencies or urgent requests, as needed
Coordinate with Operations team to respond to urgent requests and successfully resolve
Coordinate between Repair team and Fleet Drivers to deploy repaired scooters
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
1-2 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment such as restaurants
Availability to work 5 days a week including nights and weekends
Proficient computer skills
Detail-oriented and good at prioritization
Experience with managing multiple projects
Experience with handling triage, emergencies, and closing tickets
Interest in the transportation industry
