The primary purpose of the Information Representative position is to provide information to internal and external customers utilizing institutional resources such as the patient care management system, telecommunication systems and other institutional systems.
Minimum: $27,200 Midpoint: $34,000 Maximum: $40,800
Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. with rotating weekends.
Provides information and directions to internal and external customers. Must be able to print out patient appointments and schedules utilizing the patient CARE management system and other Institutional database systems.
Handles confidential patient information in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable laws and regulations. Protects privacy of patients' and employees' information.
Provides screenings for infectious respiratory conditions and child visitation registrations.
Provides personal concierge service for individuals needing luggage storage.
Captures the total number of patients visiting all Information Desks.
Provides prompt and courteous service to individuals experiencing Personal Care Events in Public Areas as outlined in Institutional policy.
Maintains a professional and positive attitude in a fast paced environment.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Associate's degree in communications or related field.
Required: Two years of experience answering multiple telephone lines, responding to customer inquiries or related experience.
Preferred: Healthcare experience.
Required: Must pass a pre-employment test as required and administered by Human Resources.
Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish and English.
