Position: Full-Time Photo Team Specialist (Remote)
Job Summary: The Photo Team Specialist will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of public school districts and other public spaces. This role requires a keen eye for composition, an understanding of photography techniques, the ability to work effectively in various situations, work well with other team members and the flexibility to travel nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Photography:
● Capture high-quality photos using an iPhone and other provided equipment.
● Operate a 360 camera (Insta 360) to create immersive visual images.
● Utilize a drone to capture aerial photography (valid drone license required within first 90 days of
employment).
● Edit and process photos to meet organization standards.
● Ensure photos are properly labeled, organized, and stored.
● Other duties include creating photo recaps, photo lists, photo routes, and photo audits.
Travel:
● Nationwide travel to public school districts and other facilities to capture photos.
● Ability to travel 50%-75% of the time including nights and weekends as needed.
● Coordinate travel arrangements and adhere to travel guidelines.
● Ability to obtain TSA pre-check
● Ability to pass background check
Equipment Maintenance:
● Properly care for and maintain all photography equipment.
● Report any equipment issues or damage promptly.
Client Support and Collaboration:
● Work effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements.
● Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
● Professional representation of the company and knowledge of all products
● Ability to converse and educate clients/account managers about additional partnerships and opportunities
Required Qualifications:
● Strong composition and photography skills
● Proficiency in using an iPhone and other photography equipment.
● Proficiency in Google sheets, excel, photoshop, and other software applications
● Ability to operate a drone safely and responsibly (and willingness to obtain a drone license within 3 months).
● A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
● Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry equipment for long periods, up to 8 hours a day.
● Excellent organizational and time management skills.
● Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
● Ability to adapt, learn and assist with other tasks on non-peak travel periods.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in commercial, editorial, real estate or architectural photography a plus
● Knowledge of advanced photo editing software (e.g., Luminar, Photoshop, Lightroom) is highly recommended
● Customer service or background working with public school districts or organizations
● Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
