Tilson is looking for an ETL Consultant to assist our Construction Industry clients in moving from one ERP software system to another. This role will be responsible for extracting data from a variety of legacy systems, conditioning or translating it to a format that is compatible with the new system’s data structures and initial loading processes, then loading the data in accordance with our stringent process and controls. Each project is a custom process for each client.

Responsibilities:
Participate in proposing, designing, and implementing solutions following the Tilson ETL architecture, standards, methodology and tools used.
Translate requirements from the business into technical code
Implement stored procedures and effectively query a database
Performs source data mapping to map the data from source systems to the target data model
Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution
Ensure the best possible performance and quality in the packages
Ability to report your progress within a team structure

Qualifications:
Possess strong general computer and server skills and strong understanding of database concepts.
Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, SQL scripting abilities including T-SQL, PL/SQL and some data modeling experience.
Writes advanced SQL, including some query tuning
Experience pulling (extracting) data from a variety of data source types utilizing ODBC and/or Linked Servers
Ability to follow a scope document and create the scripts and process to perform the scope.
Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions and views to be used during the ETL process.
Understanding of database triggers and constraints.
Experience in the identification of data quality.
Experience designing and building complete ETL processes moving and transforming data
Utilize ad-hoc techniques to perform on-the-fly analysis of data
Experience with Construction Industry ERP/Accounting systems
CMiC or Viewpoint ERP knowledge preferred
