We are seeking to hire a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Andover, MA, USA which is located about 30 minutes north of Boston. The Human Resources Generalist impacts the organization by providing professional level human resources services in the areas of employment, project management and information systems to support the company’s human resources initiatives.employment, benefits, training, and employee relations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create job profiles, post jobs on ATS, advertise jobs on social sites and college career sites, route resumes, schedule interviews, conduct reference checks through Skillsurvey.
Administer college recruiting programs and careers fairs.
Create offer letters and employment contracts.
Work with 3rd Party PEO to secure needed services outside of the US and monitor services provided.
Participate in onboarding activities including presenting New Hire Orientation (US and outside the US).
Work with a wide variety of business and HR teams/departments throughout the organization to ensure appropriate engagement, accountability and success of HR project implementations.
Assist HR project teams in the development of work team charters, work plans, governance process and structured implementation plan to support timely completion of projects.
Schedule and facilitate regularly meetings with project teams to review project tasks for status, changes to resourcing, skills, etc. and follow-up with notes and action items.
Understand and document project risks, communicate mitigation strategies in conjunction with leadership and monitor risks regularly throughout the project.
Monitor and assist in the resolution of project issues.
Provide regular status reports to identified project stakeholders.
Interpret project interdependencies and identify opportunities to increase the effectiveness of resources.
Support and publish on-going reporting cadence for all HR projects being tracked. Collect and document necessary information in an organized manner to ensure ease of access and timely reporting.
Evaluate all project milestones upon completion to ensure lessons learned are applied to all future projects.
Liaise with stakeholder(s) to address all change management implications.
Maintain SharePoint sites to help provide a vehicle for HR Team to communicate project status and information regarding projects.
As the IT arm for Human Resources, assist with the technological aspects for systems, recordkeeping and database management.
Maintain databases/systems and files to record and track human resource information.
Create report queries and prepare reports.
Responsible for ensuring content on Casa Intranet HR SharePoint sites (HR main page, folder HR Employee Documents and folder HR Staff Documents) are up-to-date, secure and accessible only by employees with access approved by the VP of HR.
Prepare and maintain employee files, records and information for the purpose of conforming to policies, procedures and relevant laws.
Assist with employee social activities/functions.
Assist with HR audits such as I-9, ISO, Recordkeeping and Sarbanes compliance.
Assist employees with inquiries involving human resources programs, policies, procedures and functions.
Provide assistance to hiring managers on the use of the Applicant Tracking systems (Silkroad Recruiting), ADP Time & Attendance and other HR technology options.
Conduct research into HR practices, policies and procedures.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
5-7 years of experience in professional services/Human Resources environment.
Sense of urgency to complete assigned tasks.
Prior experience with Applicant Tracking System; Silkroad technologies Openhire preferred.
Prior experience with Adobesign.
Prior experience using a variety of social media; Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
MS Office – Word (Proficient), Excel (basic), Project (proficient) & Powerpoint (basic).
Able to identify trends and patterns of information.
