Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, with a focus on delivering an exceptional shopping experience. Commission rate of 3% of daily sales will be included.
Duties:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product information, demonstrate features, and explain benefits to customers
- Utilize sales techniques to drive revenue and meet sales targets
- Process transactions accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers
- Upsell additional products or services to customers
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase key features
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with customers
- Knowledge of appliance sales is a plus
- Proficiency in operating POS systems and cash registers
- Ability to perform product demos effectively
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and calculating discounts
- Willingness to learn about products and services offered by the store
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50 Pounds
- Must be able to or have willingness to learn how to operate a hand truck and/or pallet jack
- Must be able to assist in the unloading of delivery trucks if needed
