Job Description
About the Position
We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Procurement professional to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Procurement Compliance & Capabilities Manager – North America lies within Global Procurement but is focused on the North America zone. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into the Associate Director Global Procurement Excellence – Capabilities, with a dotted line reporting relationship directly with the VP Procurement – North America. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. The delivery of various programs to enable Procurement’s evolution will be your primary responsibility. You’re constantly looking for improvement activities within Procurement.
In brief, you will be responsible for the below items for the North America Procurement function;
Capabilities
Managing global projects to better develop or enhance the procurement processes, technology and people pillars
Connecting our Procurement department with other functions to improve overall supply chain processes and business knowledge
Being connected externally to research procurement trends to enable you to proactively recommend and drive initiatives to advance procurement capabilities
Acting as a change agent by implementing best in class methodologies, improving use and capabilities of technology, and increasing engagement via communication strategies
Standardizing processes, communication, people management and branding
Owning the design and implementation of the Procurement Academy including Procurement Competency Framework
Compliance
Implement internal controls and governance processes for the North America Procurement organization
Implement the Procurement collaboration model between Global and Zone Procurement including tracking and monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives
Own and develop the relationship between North America Procurement and Legal, Finance, Internal Control, Internal Audit, GBS and Tax to ensure our business process is aligned with relevant requirements; if any gaps between the business process and the requirements are noted, owning the action plan to efficiently minimize/absolve the associated risk
Coordinate External Audits and ensure any risks/issues identified are remediated within the agreed timelines and authorized owners
Ensure that the Procurement policy is implemented in the day-to-day ways of working for the North America Procurement organization including the tracking of adoption and continuous tracking and monitoring of all key controls
Qualifications
Hard Skills
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.
Education in Bachelor/Master degree level in business, finance, supply chain or any related functions
At least 5 years of working experience in an international company, project management and/or supply chain experiences are a plus
A proven track record in understanding procure-to-pay processes and its affiliate solutions (SAP, Coupa, Ariba, MicroStrategy, Tableau)
Strong analytical, planning, and stakeholder management skills
Advanced change management skills with an eager to learn and develop even further
Advanced user of MS Office and have technological understanding for source-to-pay tools
Professional fluency in English with strong written, verbal and listening skills is a must; other languages is a plus.
