The ideal candidate will fill the role of a DevOps/Test Engineer and participate in a Kanban and/or Scrum Agile team. Will operate in an Agile development environment while collaborating with key stakeholders to configure test automation frameworks, develop automated and manual test cases. The candidate will conduct system, integration and regression testing driving Behavior Driven Development (BDD). In addition to testing, the candidate will also build Windows based images and hotfixes. The candidate will make and implement recommendations to improve the automated testing process. Will help evolve the agile process and ensure the software’s consistency, robustness and adherence to specifications.
5 years’ QA test engineering experience
2+ years DevOps engineer in Windows OS environments
Expertise with Cucumber and Windows
Develop manual and automated test cases
Conduct system, integration and regressing testing in Agile and/or BDD development process
Demonstrated ability in testing/validating complex systems and software designs in Agile environment
Possess critical thinking to develop automated test cases to address business needs.
Proficient with HPQC and/or Zephyr test management tools
Ability to perform log analysis and characterization to solve complex problems from multiple information sources
Great communication and teaming skills – must demonstrate courage to speak up when there is an issue – Must handle criticism and disagreement in a professional and constructive way
Must have a passion for quality delivery and be able to work independently and take initiative
Familiar with HTML 5, C#, C++ or Java and scripting languages (batch, powershell, vb scripts)
Background in Hardware Testing
Background in Financial Services industry
Background with XFS Middleware
