A Bachelor of Science and some prior related experience, or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical discipline (Degree in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Machine Learning, is desired)
Experience solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, and designing & implementing solutions to complex technical issues.
Advanced knowledge of statistical concepts such as regression, time series, mixed model, Bayesian methods, clustering, etc., to analyze data and provide insights.
Expansive skills developing teamwork
Experience with programming/scripting in a language such as Java or Python. *
Basic understanding of statistical programming in a language such as R, SAS, or Python
Understanding of, or experience with Design Thinking and Agile Development Methodologies

We're currently recruiting Data Scientists to work within a rotational training program focused on training and developing Foxconn's cutting-edge technologies. You'll work with cross functional leaders while preparing, analyzing, and understanding big data that delivers valuable insight to emerging trends.
Foxconn Industrial Internet is seeking talented individuals capable of learning and performing the following tasks:
Optimze a variety of data (structured, unstructured, IoT streaming), analytics, AI tools, and programming languages.
Train on the implementation and validation of predictive models as well as create and maintain statistical models with a focus on big data.
Develop a variety of statistical and machine learning techniques such as logistic regression, experimental design, generalized linear models, mixed modeling, CHAID/decision trees, neural networks and ensemble models.
Communicate with internal SME's to understand business needs and provide analytical solutions.
Work in an Agile, collaborative environment, partnering with other scientists, engineers, and database administrators of all backgrounds and disciplines to bring analytical rigor and statistical methods to the challenges of predicting behaviors.
Stay engaged with Machine Learning research communities, keeping up to date with relevant trends & developments, and attend academic & industry conferences
Contribute and participate in the development of ongoing training.
Work in a rotational capacity with multiple Foxconn business entities, while delivering project results to each assigned function.
Develop technical competency within each functional rotation.
