We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to assist in daily operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and shipment of goods. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and preparing orders for dispatch. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of products and meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy and report any discrepancies
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup, including packing, labeling, and shipping
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report shortages or damaged items
- Follow all health and safety regulations within the warehouse
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting (preferred)
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Basic math and organizational skills
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime if necessary
