Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Packer to join our team in a food processing plant. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating and packaging food products while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. This role requires a strong understanding of food processing and the importance of adhering to OSHA and HACCP regulations.
Duties:
- Package food products in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
- Operate mechanical equipment, such as packaging machines, to ensure efficient and accurate packaging.
- Sanitize workstations and equipment to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Fabricate and assemble food packaging materials, including fabricating custom containers.
- Use sharp objects, such as knives, to prepare food for packaging.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Participate in the implementation of quality control measures to ensure the highest quality of food products.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:

- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy packages and equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate mechanical equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
