A day in your life as a Cash Management Product Manager
Under the direction of the Manager, this position is responsible for establishing strategic direction and design of competitive products for cash management. Primary responsibilities include technology leadership through knowledge of latest industry advancements and new product engineering, collaboration with internal partners to ensure execution of client centric sales/marketing strategy, retention and acquisition of new clients and meeting servicing and efficiency goals to ensure delivery of high level quality client service. If applicable or appropriate, assists with the business unit’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.

We’ll give you these important responsibilities…
Establishes the strategic direction and manages the development and implementation of the strategy/business initiatives for Cash Management to ensure continued revenue growth. Develops marketing strategy for cash management product suite. Oversees the pricing of cash management products to ensure their competitiveness and profitability. Maintains knowledge of market trends and new developments to provide best-in-class cash management products and services. Coordinates design, implementation, and maintenance of cash management products and services to fully meet the needs of existing and potential customers. Locates and develops new opportunities for Cash Management.
Manages vendors, negotiates contracts, establishes performance standards and is accountable for ongoing contract administration. Leverages internal IT partners to ensure proper interface between vendor products and internal systems. Maintains detailed working knowledge of all products and related systems and performs tasks related to successful product management. Tracks, measures, monitors and reports product usage and ensures ongoing product testing is conducted. Responsible for the management of all employees in the department including staffing, compensation, training and development, succession planning, affirmative action and performance management. Goal is to attract, retain and motivate the team to achieve management business objectives and maintain a favorable employee relations climate. Responsible for the timely and effective management of Human Resources forms and documents relevant to immediate staff.
Partners with sales and service managers to ensure the respective units meet sales and servicing goals and continue to identify/develop new business, expand existing business relationships, maintain good client relationships, and ensure proper servicing of accounts. Builds relationships with cash management professionals and vendors.
Develops the annual budgets and strategic plans for all units of responsibility. Manages the financial statements of all units of responsibility. Monitors actual performance of units relative to budget. Identifies variances and seeks to remedy them. Controls expenses to maximize profitability. Forecasts, schedules and coordinates resources for all units of responsibility.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 10 or more years of experience in strategic planning/development, commercial banking, business, finance, sales, and marketing, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 4 or more years of supervisory/management or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or similar software. Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems.
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven project and process management skills.
Must have strong analytical, organizational, quantitative, and problem solving skills to identify business and process improvement opportunities and risks in order to implement change.
Able to work across multiple departments and divisions with an ability to build and maintain strong working relationships/partnerships with a collaborative and consultative approach.
Must be able to lift, move, carry, and transport files up to 10 lbs.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary or assigned.
Must be able to provide own transportation and commute and arrive at intended destinations in a timely manner and/or as required.
