*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing profitability. *Duties* - Oversee daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager - Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training new employees - Manage inventory control and ensure stock levels are maintained - Supervise shift management and ensure smooth store operations - Provide exceptional customer service and drive sales - Utilize POS systems effectively for transactions and reporting - Support retail management in achieving store targets *Skills* - Proven experience in retail, preferably in a grocery store environment - Strong knowledge of sales techniques and strategies - Proficiency in inventory control and stock management - Experience with POS systems and basic accounting principles - Ability to lead a team effectively as an Assistant Manager - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for recruiting and customer interactions
