What you’ll be doing...

The role of the Senior Account Manager within Verizon Partner Solutions is to develop and grow new business and sales relationship with key strategic business within the Global Wholesale market. This individual will represent VPS products, services and positioning/strategy to key partners and clients within the market. Responsibilities include positioning and selling the full suite of Verizon services including Ethernet, IP, VOIP and emerging services. Focus is on strategic solution-based sales to meet/exceed all business and performance sales targets.

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for establishing C-Level relationships in new business accounts in an effort to execute their global strategic plans to ensure account success via sales growth and optimum partner satisfaction. It is critical for this individual to be a team leader, an astute business person, have exceptional business insight, show executive/boardroom presence, and have outstanding judgment and work ethic.

You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:
A degree.
Sold complex technical solutions and/or systems integration sales. Ideally, strategic solutions.
Met challenging sales goals.
Managed multiple projects and deals under tight timelines.
Cultivated strong trusting customer relationships at executive levels.
Experienced telecom sales representative with a track record of success in selling to the highly competitive Verizon Partner Solutions’ (VPS) carrier customers.
Knowledge of basic network design, operational understanding of telecommunications ordering, and provisioning and billing processes.
Knowledge of VPS products and services, and associated end-user and carrier applications.
