The Outside Sales Representative tracks the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market. This role aims towards maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. This leader establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients.
Responsibilities

Follows all safety procedures and policies set forth by Masonite

Provides, maintains, and ensures superior customer service

Maintains effective relations with inside customer service representatives with a focus on superior service to customers

Work with Sales Manager on a regular basis, in person or by phone, as required to effectively manage sales, marketing and promotions, accounts receivable and superior customer service

Provides timely, effective services to customers, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin

Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activities

Creates and conducts proposal presentations

Develops a sales plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability

Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects

Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets

Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed

Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements

Proven leadership and ability to drive sales

Must be an aggressive, disciplined and self-motivated sales professional with a customer-focused approach
