The Work You'll Do

The Staff Accountant is responsible for daily accounts receivable tasks, performing a variety of accounting functions, such as setting up and maintaining customer accounts, billing, and collections.

More specifically, you will:
Set up new customer accounts in general ledger system
Generate and review customer invoices and credit memos
Monitor and reconcile customer accounts receivable balances for accuracy and payment
Gather financial information on customers and prospect for credit checks; maintain credit files
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries
Assist in the monthly close of the company’s financial statements including preparation of schedules support balance sheet and income statement accounts
Document and develop accounting and control procedures
Work with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Provides supporting documentation and analytical information for all external audits
What We Need From You

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong Excel, communication, and customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured environment
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and records with a high degree of discretion, diligence and good judgment
Acts with integrity and demonstrates ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders
Takes full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction
Develops trust and models open, candid, and respectful communication and collaborative teamwork
Demonstrates a high degree of self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learning
