The OB Technician performs a variety of patient care and clerical duties to assist and support the organization and function of the LDRP. Works cooperatively with and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse providing direct care to patient of various ages (neonate, adolescent, adult). Interacts with physicians, patients, families/significant others, hospital staff and community agencies in providing comprehensive care. Is responsible for completion and processing of the birth certificates, and ?Declaration of Paternity? forms.

Required Qualification: 1. Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, EMT, ROP, Paramedic Training Program or equivalent required. 2. BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
