The Director of Technology Deployment is a critical role that works cross-functionally to drive the success of the business by ensuring that projects leveraging technology are led to completion/implemented according to expectations, leading to the support of the enterprise strategic mission. The Director of Technology Deployment will also manage third party vendors to ensure compliance and adherence to schedules. This position will manage the conceptualization, scoping, systems analysis, programming activities, design, testing and implementation of multiple information technology related projects. The Director of Technology Deployment will interact with all levels of the business and will manage cross functional projects using effective project planning and management tools and techniques.
Specific Responsibilities Include
Provide direct oversight and leadership leading to the successful implementation and deployment of key technology programs across the enterprise, including both Company and Franchise locations. Key strategic programs include the Aloha POS conversion and the Image Activation system wide rollout. Effectively design and manage assigned projects to deliver intended results. Determine and oversee resources needed/responsible for working with key stakeholders to define requirements, set priorities, and create cost benefit analyses for assigned technology projects. Project management oversight duties include ensuring well defined scope, developing and maintaining the work and project plan(s), recommending project team structure(s), staffing the project team(s), creating and maintaining project estimate(s), managing risks, resolving issues, and delivering regular status reports.
Provide direction on strategic and tactical level planning and overall implementation planning to ensure effective communication and execution of key technology projects and priorities. Provides oversight and control of key technology vendors including the communication of expected service level metrics and standardized processes essential to the successful deployment of technology programs, thereby upholding Wendy's defined standards/best practices. Direct the cross functional project team(s) driving motivation, collaboration and performance. Direct the daily activities of assigned personnel including administrative policies and procedures, resolving technical problems, ensuring quality deliverables, setting priorities and following project governance methodology. Regularly review the skill sets and staffing levels for assigned projects. Define job duties and monitor performance of assigned project resources.
Estimate project costs and manage the project budget(s) (including related scope control) will full understanding of project accounting processes.
Track short-term project metrics (scope, schedule variances, customer satisfaction, etc.) to drive project delivery improvement.

Education / Experience
Bachelor's Degree: Major in Computer Science, Administration, Business, or related field.
Master's Degree in related field and/or PMI Certification preferred
Minimum of 8 years of information technology related experience, including 3 or more years of direct project management experience.
Knowledge of business systems consulting, business process modeling, data flow diagramming, project management life cycle, database design, requirements analysis, application development, security, testing, training, return on investment analysis, information systems strategic planning, and systems development methodology and standards.
Team building, negotiation, management, project planning, and verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated depth of project management expertise and capability of managing budgets up to $5 million.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to work with other IT teams, vendor partners, Executive, Franchisees and Operations to determine solutions and best practices and leads the effort to implement. Communications process and planning.
Experience: Implement support for large scale project and major business initiatives
