We are looking for a Production Manager who will lead a 2nd shift production area with a crew of up to 150 people, under direction of the Operations Manager, helps control staffing levels, moves employees within department to maintain workflow, and coordinates with supervisors in other areas. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and or as necessary.

This position will drive improvement in measurable output for every operations employee through skills and job
knowledge and feedback to link personal accountability to the goals of the facility at all times. An individual in

Provide direct oversight for the production teams across a 24 hour, 6 day operation with cross
functional interface with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, HR, Supply Chain, and Culinary team.
Drive employee engagement, training and development in the key areas of food safety, employee
safety, product quality, and productivity.
Provide leadership in measuring, assessing and enhancing production capabilities and performance.
Ensure regulatory compliance across a range of federal, state, and local agencies.
Ensure that all quality standards, specifications and policies are met, drive continuous
process/manufacturing improvements and collaborate with Research and Development in product
development and implementation.
Develop and drive a performance based culture, both team and individual, to assure continuous
improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission and objectives.
Develop and drive open/honest dialogue and involvement with all team members that demonstrates
the value of their input and engagement in improving communication and performance.
Develop and drive a culture of high performance and accountability in employee and product safety.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Collaborate with Human Resources and other functional leaders to create and execute effective
employee relations processes and develop Supervisors and Leads to do the same in order to maintain a
positive working environment.
Drive collaboration with the Culinary team in new product development to ensure plant capabilities and
production feasibility are understood and addressed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, talk and hear.
The employee frequently is required to walk, use hands and arms to handle, feel and reach, push, pull,
bend and twist.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, move up
and down stairs; move, lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
without assistance.
Visually inspects equipment and locates merchandise and other objects.
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Read information, often in small print.
Enter and locate information on a computer system or communication device.
Write documents, reports, etc. using a writing instrument (e.g., pencil, pen) or computer.
Observe behavior of others.

Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all required areas.
Work in areas requiring exposure to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold from 0 to 100 degrees,
and/or wet, damp, or drafty conditions.
Work in areas with slippery and/or wet conditions near water.
Frequently work near equipment and mechanic moving parts
Regular exposure to cleaning chemicals
Work overnight, weekends, and rotating/varying shifts.
Work indoors for extended periods of time.
Move through narrow, enclosed, or elevated spaces.

Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field (e.g.,Management, Engineering, Food Science, Business
Administration, Production/Operations Management) and/or
3-5 years manufacturing experience required preferably with some level of High Performance Work
System implementation.
3-5 years experience in an operations/manufacturing environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring,
and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and
promotion of employees for multiple departments/areas.
Manufacturing experience in a food, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), or related industry required.
Strong change management skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
