T. White Parker is seeking an assertive professional to serve as a Consultant to provide business organization/operations/management and business process improvement advisory and execution support to a federal organization. The ideal candidate should possess excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills; be a self-starter who excels at working independently and collaborating with team members; and is professional and polished with a customer service mindset. This resource will work across a number of task areas such as business process management, business opearations improvement, budget, organizational development, and project management. Management Consultants provide an essential role to our engagement teams providing analytical skills, the ability to conduct research, strong communications skills (both oral and written), and an energy and drive to produce results, often bringing experience amassed from prior engagements to bear in addressing client challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support office- and program-level strategic planning efforts
- Identify and assist in implementing enhancements to the client organizations’ productivity, performance, and strategic priorities
- Provide data analysis and quantitative analysis to enable informed decision-making
- Gather business/operational requirements to enhance office and program practices
- Apply business intuition, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and analytical rigor to solve business problems (both strategic and operational) with a sense of urgency
- Utilize a broad understanding of human capital concepts (e.g., workforce planning, succession planning, training, instructional design, organizational development)
- Implement project management, business process improvement, strategic communications, change management, and group facilitation best practices
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations.
- Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope.
- Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives.
- Ensure the effective design, development, and timely delivery of exceptional quality work products.
- Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs and processes.
- Contribute to program and project status meetings, as needed.
- Manage multiple stakeholders and ensure expectations are proactively and clearly communicated, as appropriate.
- Perform research and analysis as required.
