What are the responsibilities of a Recruitment Consultant?

  • Build a strong network of life sciences professionals and clients.
  • Utilize online job boards, LinkedIn, and resume databases to find new contacts.
  • Source and screen candidates that meet the client’s qualifications and expectations.
  • Locate job vacancies and negotiate terms with our clients.
  • Guide candidates through interview processes with clients.
  • Sell job opportunities to candidates and candidate profiles to clients via telephone.
  • Meet daily/weekly goals and monthly sales targets.
  • Attend local and national networking events and pharmaceutical conferences in your core market.

The ideal candidate for this role will;

  • Have a confident phone manner and strong communication skills.
  • Be driven by recognition and success with a competitive attitude.
  • Be able to work independently as well the ability to work in a team and take instructions.
  • Understand the importance of soft sales skills as well as the ability to overcome objection.
  • Have tenacity and persistence.
  • Be ambitious - this position can be much more than a 'job’ – it can be a lifelong career.
