Ark Counseling has an immediate opportunity for an alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) who is currently licensed with the MN BBHT. This is a 1099 (independent contractor) position. The contractor will facilitate one of our evening groups that meet from 6:30 pm to 9:15 pm T, W and Th and must also complete all required documentation and paperwork, and case management. We estimate these tasks will take 15-18 hours per week.

Clinicians will be provided full exposure into all facets of a dual diagnosis IOP program, including, but not limited to: diagnostic assessments, intakes, group therapy, individual therapy, and coordinating care with other providers (including prescribers). Ark owns and also operates a urine drug testing laboratory that performs high-complexity urine drug tests that is fully licensed by the US Department of HHS Medicare Services.

Ark Counseling specializes in providing clinical care to people (18 y/o or older) who have co-occurring chemical use and mental health problems. The MN Department of Human Services has licensed Ark as an IOP MH/CD treatment facility. Ark’s clinical director is a MN BBHT and MN DHS approved clinical supervisor for LADCs, LPCs and LPCCs post-graduate clinical supervision hours. We are located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis (Plymouth).

All contractors must pass a state-mandated criminal background check and make sworn attestations and declarations regarding their chemical use and history.
