Memorial Health serves 35 counties across southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina. In addition to MHUMC, our system includes primary and specialty care doctors, business services, and NurseOne, our 24-hour call center. We also have a major medical education program that trains residents in diagnostic radiology, family medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and surgery.
We are searching for a Paramedic for a full-time position, responsible for providing both direct and indirect patient care as delegated and supervised by the Registered Nurse. Also responsible for health unit coordination by promoting collaboration and efficiency on the nursing unit and demonstrating mastery of time management, organization, customer service and problem resolution and compliance with the Memorial Health Compliance Program, related policies and procedures and the Code of Business Practices; reports instances of perceived and actual non-compliance to Team Leader or through other reporting mechanisms.

EDUCATION AND SPECIFIC TRAINING:
High School Graduate or GED
Georgia Paramedic Certification
Basic Cardiac Life Support for health care providers issued by American Heart Association
Advanced Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation provider issued by American Heart Association.
Special Skills Required
Strong computer skills, familiarity with Windows, MS Office, email, and clinical documentation programs. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer services skills required.
Special Skills Preferred
One year direct patient care experience.
