The HR Director for Raytheon International (RII) and Corporate Strategy is a member of the Global Business Development (GBD) HR Team. This position is a key advisor to the President of Raytheon International (RII) and the Vice President of Corporate Strategy regarding both domestic and international HR matters that enable RTN’s global growth in 17 locations worldwide (which includes 30% international revenue and 16% year-over-year international booking growth). Directly and indirectly, the incumbent leads and manages HR Generalists and other matrixed team members to develop and drive people solutions for Raytheon International and Corporate Strategy. Additionally, as an International HR SME, this position operates as a critical integrator in the development of international people strategies and solutions for implementation across the enterprise (not solely limited to Raytheon International).
Responsible for a broad spectrum of HR deliverables (performance management, talent acquisition, talent development & succession, compensation administration, organization effectiveness, compliance and employee relations) and strategy in support of Raytheon’s evolving enterprise-wide international business model and bookings portfolio of $8.4B (with a pipeline development target of $10.B).Responsible for understanding foreign statutory requirements for labor and employment issues and the impact to the company and employees outside of the United States. Ensures all HR activities are in compliance with the laws of the countries in which Raytheon International operates. Additionally, while developing solutions for RII, a critical accountability is to ensure that those solutions have enterprise applicability and will define how Raytheon, as whole, will operate in a country.Works directly with the President of Raytheon International and the Vice President of Corporate Strategy to assess talent, identify growth potential, plan and manage developmental moves and build a strong leadership succession plan for the future. In alignment with Raytheon’s HR model, this position serves as the integrator of all HR programs and services (talent acquisition, organization effectiveness, compensation, talent development, etc.) for Raytheon International and Corporate Strategy. As such, the incumbent is a key member of the leadership teams for both organizations and partners at the most senior levels of the HR, BD and other functional teams to create innovative solutions that meet both international and domestic human capital challenges.In collaboration with GBD International HR Director peers, this position works with HR partners and BD leaders, across the enterprise, to provide solutions that ensure cross enterprise alignment and awareness for a OneRTN solution whenever possible. Translates customer, market, capture and business requirements into HR requirements in order to effectively develop IHR solutions by leveraging enterprise and business resources.
Promotes an inclusive culture by integrating required country cultural diversity tenets into IHR strategy and educating client group/key stakeholders on same.Lead resource responsible for educating business, programs and HR on the IHR implications related to the deployment of RTN employees and the hiring/training/development of local nationals.Where there is a need to modify or stand up an RTN legal entity, facilitates bringing appropriate stakeholders together which may include brokering arrangements with other RTN businesses and/or engaging other RTN subject matter experts.

Minimum 14 years professional experience in Human Resources including IHRBA/BS degree or equivalent work experienceExperience in International Human Resources and International Employment Law

Demonstrated ability to make educated, independent business decisions in short order and execute best judgement with limited information.
