This position will be key to the success of the C&S Supply Chain team by providing the analytical and project management support to drive continuous improvement in service (on time and in full metrics), cost, and forecasting metrics. The metrics apply to both KHC and C&S. The position will provide the right candidate customer supply chain experience supporting one of KHC’s top customers along with gaining experience working across KHC’s supply chain functions (warehousing, transportation, demand planning, supply, and customer service) and Sales. The position is a customer facing position and will be working directly with key contacts from C&S’s procurement team.
Data Analytics & Reporting
Analyze and monitor monthly KPI’s that capture the customer’s current service levels and efficiency performance. Drive improvements of KPIs (i.e. OTIF, ORDD, CFR, etc…). Be as proactive as possible to avoid service failure using monthly/weekly reporting tools.
Deliver specific and measurable cost savings targets and service improvements through existing tools, process improvements, and corrective action in conjunction with Kraft Heinz affiliate logistics, planning and customer service departments.
Design and implement mutually beneficial creative supply chain solutions and programs that improve service and/or reduce costs (i.e. CPU, DPS opportunity)
Support best practices and accountability across the customer and sales teams that will include daily, weekly and monthly direct connectivity w/ KHC’s supply chain performance and execution team.
Manage customer-specific Tableau dashboards and reporting tools.
Cross Functional and Customer Support
Work closely with Sales counterparts to assist with promo forecasting, fill rates analysis and other ad hoc requests.
Weekly routines with customer procurement group to improve order efficiency, implement new processes, and help identify supply gaps.
Reconcile OTP metrics with customer logistics team on monthly basis.
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Supply Chain Management or related field
2-5 years of education and related experience in areas such as production scheduling, inventory management, supply/operations planning, customer service, transportation and warehouse management.
Process Management/Continuous Improvement mindset required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point)
Tableau experience required
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
Strong communication (oral, written, presentation)
Ability to solve problems using analytical tools
