Description:
Manager, Organic Social
  • Conceive, create, maintain, and publish a robust daily content calendar that highlights our brand message and continually entertains, inspires, delights, and supports our followers
  • Review and approve all posts for all channels (~300 posts per month)
  • With the help of the Associate Manager and in-house teams, conceive and/or create approximately 100 posts per month (1 per channel per day), including but not limited to writing copy, executing creative, sourcing assets, etc.
Use native tools to boost and target posts (Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads Manager)
Plan, coordinate, and produce exciting live social activations
Amplify PR, talent, and UGC where appropriate

  • Align with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product announcements, marquee releases, PR campaigns, and other brand messages.
  • Work with content to surface the best audiobooks, series, authors and narrators for our members
  • Collaborate with Marquee marketing team, working side-by-side to enable discovery of the content we have deemed to be our most compelling and engrossing audio offerings
  • Directly support efforts of Editorial Team in the business mission of humanizing our brand voice, increasing content discovery and customer engagement
  • Build awareness of members-only sales, daily deals and other value-driving promotions
  • Regularly promote “standard” member benefits, like our no-questions-asked return policy, Whispersync for Voice, and anytime, anywhere listening
  • Integrate with larger above-the-line business initiatives (Brand, PR, etc)
  • Act as a liaison with Customer Service and Marketing
  • Partner with creatives and digital marketing strategy during creative development to inspire work that is impossible to ignore (leveraging latest trends in the social space)
Proactively participate in marketing/creative discussions at the early stages

  • Consult with paid marketing on how to leverage assets and information for organic social, and vice versa
Develop repeatable social media project methodologies and processes; focus on continual improvement and streamlining of processes to ensure best quality outcomes and speed to market.
Act as main point of contact between MRY (agency) and Client Organic Social (manage requests, provide feedback, collaborate on new initiatives)

  • Continue to raise the bar on performance
Maintain monthly performance report
Create ad-hoc campaign reports, as needed (2-3x per month)

  • Analyze how social metrics correlate to business metrics
Socialize/educate on KPIs to those outside the department

  • Manage yearly budget in partnership with oversight from senior management
  • Create POs
  • Track spending and report monthly to Finance
  • Work with legal to create/renew contracts
  • Coordinate with our global social partners
  • Monthly Global call to share results/learnings
  • Proactively coordinate on marquee/cross-market campaigns
  • Share best practices (Sprinklr, native platforms)
  • Lead the organic social team as POC on Surfaces Acquisition Team
