You will support Heartland’s rapid growth by collaborating with Hiring Managers to provide world class, full cycle recruiting support to meet the needs of the organization in a timely and cost effective manner. You will have full responsibility for candidate sourcing, phone screening, assessment, interviewing, and managing the offer and hiring processes.
Demonstrated experience in creative sourcing of passive candidates as well as conducting phone/in person interviews
Must have a strong foundation and understanding of direct candidate sourcing, with proven ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies
Human Resources skill and experience beyond recruiting is preferred as the position will provide some Generalist level responsibilities as well during non-peak times.
Perform other duties as needed.
Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
Must be able to work seated using a computer and phone for long periods of time.
Must possess visual acuity to document company records
Must be able to lift 20 pounds
Education Standard: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field is required. Significant experience in high volume recruiting in lieu of degree will be given consideration.
A minimum of 3 - 5 years in recruiting; high-volume food manufacturing/distribution and/or multi-site organization preferred
A working knowledge of ATS system preferably ADP
Experience working in a Food & Beverage environment highly preferred
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills (both oral and written)
Strong work ethic demonstrated by sense of urgency, flexibility and accuracy.
