Citi Security and Investigative Services (CSIS) conducts independent, in-house investigations covering the full cross-section of Citi businesses and regions. The Global Investigative Intelligence Senior Manager will join Citi as a member of the Global Intelligence & Analysis (GIA) program within CSIS. As a member of GIA, the manager will direct a global team of analysts to provide CSIS with customized, advanced intelligence research and analysis that is professionally crafted and worldwide in scope. The manager will also support engagement with internal Citi partners, as well as external financial industry counterparts, law enforcement agencies and governments.
Based in Tampa, FL this position will report directly to the GIA Director, Global Intelligence Services. The incumbent will be responsible for continuing to build and to manage the Global Investigative Intelligence program, including refining the program’s strategic direction to best support CSIS components across all stages of the intelligence lifecycle with respect to major incidents and significant cyber and fraud threats.
The manager will also be responsible for strategically directing the expansion of a network of partnerships with internal stakeholders and private/public sector entities responsible for fraud-related operations, cyber and fraud threat monitoring, crisis management and response. The individual will be responsible for routinely evaluating intelligence tradecraft and methodologies to identify potential areas for improvement and/or gaps in the industry, and developing training plans for the team’s analysts on these identified methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop a newly established Investigative Intelligence Program within the CSIS Global Intelligence & Analysis team.
Coordinate the fusion of multidisciplinary teams (Due Diligence, Open Source Intelligence, Cyber and Fraud) focusing on threats and the development of adversarial techniques, tactics, and procedures while ensuring that adversarial targeting trends and techniques are tracked and converted into actionable tasking across all CSIS holdings, seeking to identify emerging issues, trends, and arising threats.
Create a feedback loop where investigative gaps are identified and shared with global and regional Directors of Investigations to develop a methodology where event terminology and data tagging is part of a continual improvement process is expected result.
Brief senior Citi leaders including the Citi Chief Security Officer (CSO), the global head of cyber and fraud investigations, and other cross business and sector senior leaders within the firm on major incidents.
Prepare and brief monthly investigative findings and trends to the CSIS CSO, COO, and Global Heads of Cyber and Investigations.
Prepare and brief quarterly investigative findings and trends to the global heads of various business lines as needed.
Develop a repeatable process for reviewing the tactical findings of individual investigations identifying systemic issues and risks.
Lead the creation and production of a semi-annual strategic investigative risk overview report.
Coordinate with Risk and Fraud Management organizations to ensure strategic alignment across investigative findings.
Develop and maintain strong and sustainable industry and government agency relationships.


8+ years of experience in cyber or fraud investigations and/or financial crimes in a corporate setting, federal law enforcement agency or intelligence agency
Four Year College Degree required, post Graduate Degree is a plus
5+ years of people management experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to formulate and articulate strategies and solutions to all levels of management
Strong knowledge of financial products, frauds and trends
Excellent research skills including experience with online research tools
Ability to develop and maintain relationships internally (across business lines and regions) and work in the confines of a heavily matrixed environment
Ability to formulate and articulate investigation intelligence strategies and solutions to all levels of management in a context that aligns with the corporate culture of the organization
