Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in business development and/or partnerships.
Experience analyzing, structuring, negotiating, and executing agreements.
Experience collaborating and communicating with cross-functional teams and external organizations.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to take initiative and comfortably work in a rapidly changing industry.
Ability to formulate and articulate technical, financial, and value points with partners and internal Google teams.
Ability to comfortably escalate and present key agreements to Google management when appropriate.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
As a Business Development Lead, you will leverage your experience business development to drive and lead cross-functional teams, lead partnerships from prospecting and pipeline creation, and partner management. You will drive both strategic work streams and day-to-day execution and will work with Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Program Management, Finance, and Leadership. You are a strategic thinker with the ability to negotiate and influence, a focus on execution, and excellent analytical skills and communication skills. Additionally, you have high attention to detail, sound business judgment, creativity, perseverance, and excellent collaboration skills.
In this role, you will create and grow partnerships with first-party and third-party partners from mobile carriers, to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and many more. You will lead new partnership efforts, drive strategy, and lead negotiations across product areas (PAs), regions, and cross-functional teams. Simply put, you will help Google One scale fast.

Develop and manage strategic partnerships with mobile carriers, original equipment manufacturers, and other third parties to help grow Google One. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive product strategy, and prioritize technical requirements.
Drive, engage, and retain partnerships globally.
Present key agreement terms to Google leadership. Lead regular business and operational reviews with partners and Google leadership, reviewing and analyzing internal data and reports provided by partners, collecting and synthesizing feedback, driving subsequent recommendations, and engaging with cross-functional colleagues to advance partnership impact.
Partner across Product Areas (PAs), building effective relationships with business development and product teams beyond Google One.
Work closely with Legal teams to draft and manage partner agreements. Ensure partners are delivering on commitments and report and measure overall success of partner activities.
