Job Summary:
As a Summer Youth Employment Coach at Career Focus Inc, you'll collaborate with clients, their support systems, and Employers to fulfill Work-Based Learning referrals. Your key responsibilities include:
- Cultivating new business connections for clients
- Facilitating client intake and placements
- Developing tailored accommodations for clients
- Maintaining clear communication with clients and their support networks
- Documenting precise case notes and deliverables
- Conducting staff training reviews and completing monthly summaries
Requirements:
- High School diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
- Experience with individuals with disabilities desirable but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe, and web-based database systems.
- Flexibility in scheduling; availability during days, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to clear a level 2 background check.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
Physical Demands and Working Environment:
- Blend of office settings and fieldwork at diverse business venues
- Activities include standing, walking, reaching, prolonged sitting, driving, and computer work.
- Capability to lift up to 40 pounds when necessary.
