General Position Summary:

LOUD Audio, LLC is currently accepting applications for a Director of Human Resources role with main responsibilities in overseeing the human resources strategic as well as the day-to-day human resources operations. This business partner role is expected to achieve alignment with the management team as well as with employees in driving strategic goals to completion on time and according to federal, state and local employment law compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the strategic as well as the daily HR operations, provide HR staff support and practice employee development. Accountable for the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR department and budget management.
  • Manages Human Resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; managing payroll and benefits process, determining production, productivity, quality, and accumulating resources, resolving problems; implementing change. The responsibility includes making any recommendations for hiring, terminations, pay changes, job changes and training.
  • Lead and support the culture and communications initiatives and programs to increase employee engagement and morale.
  • Manage and administer the company performance management system and tool for all departments.
  • Consult, coach and provide mediation assistance on employee relations issues.
  • Interpret, communicate, train on and maintain the company policies, procedures in accordance with current federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Train and mentor staff members on company values and cultural expectations, interviewing techniques, onboarding and terminations, employee relations, coaching and employee development.
  • Implement best practices for safety, workers compensation, risk management. Complete and conduct workers compensation claims.
  • Manage performance of HRIS, Taleo ATS and SharePoint for employment, benefits implementation and staffing needs.
  • Manage EEO, ADA, FLSA compliance and any related reporting.
  • Manage recruiting, onboarding, terminations of permanent and temporary members and ensure compliance with current employment laws.
  • Create, design, facilitate training programs; train and develop employees. Write and conduct safety initiatives.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different request; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Handle unemployment claims and hearings.
  • Complete and maintain budget, headcount, turnover and historical trend reports.
  • Maintain employment law compliance in our international offices.
  • Perform such duties and assume such other responsibilities as may be required.
Specific Job Skills:
  • 7+ years of work experience as an HR professional; HR staff supervision and managerial skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (including listening, writing, speaking) required.
  • Training and development skills required. Ability to present in front of small and large groups.
  • Current knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Current knowledge of international laws.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills; communicate effectively with internal and external customers, both large and small groups.
  • Effectively handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously; remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to encourage and motivate people with responsible attitudes toward work.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain solid relationships with professionals at all levels. Plan and prioritize work properly.
Education and/or Experience:
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration or I/O Psychology or related field.
  • 7+ years of work experience as an HR professional; HR staff supervision and managerial skills.
  • Experience and understanding of HR disciplines such as: Employee Relations, Recruitment, Training and Development, Compliance, Safety, Worker’s Compensation, Benefits and Compensation, HR reporting.
Job Conditions:
  • Normal office working conditions.
  • Independent body mobility to access a standard office environment with shelves and drawers of varying heights.
  • Able to read a computer screen, 12 point and finer printed text, and hand-written documents.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard on a daily basis.
  • Travel domestically or internationally when necessary.
