SWIFT is looking for an enthusiastic and talented recruiting professional to join our in-house recruiting team (circa 12 people globally) in Manassas, Virginia. This is an opportunity to take responsibility for managing a US campus recruitment program – from strategy to execution, and would suit someone who is looking for the opportunity to build and shape a program. In addition, the role will also include some responsibility for experienced hire recruitment (volumes depending on time of year and campus recruiting workload), partnering with one other recruiter on the delivery of the US technical recruitment demand.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with key stakeholders internally (e.g. Recruiting, HR, Comp & Ben, Hiring Manager Community)

Partner with Hiring Managers to develop and implement targetted and effective sourcing strategies.

Identify and engage passive talent through creative sourcing techniques, pre-qualifying candidates for shortlisting.

Conducting telephone and in person interviews utilising competency based interview techniques.

Drive offer process - including building compensation proposals, extending offers and closing candidates.

Leading and contributing to various local and global projects to improve the processes and capabilities of the Talent Acquisition team.

Qualifications
A background in full lifecycle recruiting and direct sourcing, experience with technical and/or operations profiles. Must have previous experience as in-house recruiter. May also have gained experience in agency or RPO environment.
Strong commercial acumen combined with a responsive and client facing approach, and the ability to push back where appropriate.

Up-to-date knowledge of innovative sourcing methodologies and a strong track record of successfully networking externally.
Proven ability to proactively engage candidates and stakeholders over the telephone and face to face.
Ability to partner with Hiring Managers, provide market expertise for U.S. market, support HMs with expertise in local market and best practices in recruitment.
Experience in recruiting in other countries will be well regarded, in particular Mexico and Brazil.
Able to plan, coordinate and prioritize activities successfully to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of the payments, financial and IT industry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence, work with multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships.
Experience in candidate screening and competency based interviewing.

Passionate about hiring the best people and enabling excellent candidate and employee experiences across all job families.
