Reports to: ROW Department Manager
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate
core competencies in the following areas:
Review of appraisal reports for property and
interests in property subject to the eminent domain
laws of the State of Arizona; the Federal Uniform
Relocation and Real Property Assistance Act, as
amended, 12 CFR 34, 49 CFR 24.103 and 24.104 and the
Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal
Review of Appraisal reports for public entities /
Coordinate, develop, monitor of property appraisals
for eminent domain acquisitions.
Develop, manage and maintain client relationships.
Develop, in collaboration with senior leadership, a
strategic growth plan for the market, which includes
short and long-term action plans and financial
The successful candidate will possess the following
required degrees, certificates or competencies:
Arizona Certified General Appraiser license, with a
minimum of five years’ condemnation appraisal
experience actively appraising or reviewing
appraisals of properties and developing all three
approaches to value (Cost, Income and Comparable
Experience appraising properties for public entities
Real Estate License and / or education are also a
MAI or MAI candidate, preferred.
Strong organizational, communication and analytical
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
