SURVICE Engineering has several Scientific Assistant - Data Collector positions currently available and located at Ft. Stewart near Savannah, GA. These roles will support range test efforts by performing test data collection, technical assistance, project surveys, and various additional administrative tasks for organizations and test projects in conjunction with developmental, operational, and customer tests. This is a short term position (5-6 weeks) scheduled to begin in August and conclude in September.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Assist managers and test officers with administrative and logistics tasks
Schedule and attending meetings and recording minutes
Maintain test documentation, schedules, and logs
Enter data and maintaining test-related databases
Collect real-time test data during field trials
Record and track test inventories and write test incident reports
Prepare data sheets, document tracking sheets, and document file folders
Perform additional general office duties as required
All applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED and have a valid drivers license
Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to do lifting up to 25 pounds
Position requires strong attention to details, good writing skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Individuals must be able to work varying work schedules to meet test requirements and be adaptable to diverse work environments
