Peraton is looking for an Undersea Warfare Range Computer Programmer to join our team in Newport, RI. The ideal candidate shall support, and maintain complex computer based systems for U.S. Navy Undersea Warfare ranges. This position will be performed at the customer site in Newport RI but may be eligible for occasional remote work. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and modify computer software for US Navy undersea ranges
Support Test and Evaluation operations for the ranges during exercises and installations
Provide on-site installation support for installation of new and/or upgraded computer based systems at the range sites
Verification testing support for new and/or upgraded computer based systems
Support Information Assurance efforts for the computer based range systems
HS Degree and 6 years programming experience or BS and 1 year programming experience
Demonstrated experience with Java, C#, or C++
Experience with SQL, Matlab and .NET framework a plus
Must have experience with Linux operating system
Experience with Unix and Windows a plus
Must have Information Assurance Technical Level I certification
An active Secret clearance
