Our growing restoration firm is seeking an experienced Renovations Director of Operations, with a background in Construction, who can collaborate with departmental managers to create internal systems and processes, and develop business plans. The Renovations Director of Operations will be responsible for helping to update and develop business policies and procedures while staying true to the core values and culture that has been instilled in C&B over the last 32+ years. In less than 2 years we have tripled the size of our company and we need your help to continue our growth! The ideal candidate for this position possesses proven leadership skills, as well as a strong ability to problem solve and make sound decisions that encourage business growth.

Tasks

  • Work with project managers daily to ensure the best quality and service to our Customers
  • Act as a responsible individual for the approval of significant expense checks
  • Regular customer engagement and constant communication is required
  • Improve the business processes for the construction department through analysis and collaboration
  • Get involved in long-term business planning at the managerial and executive level
  • Collaborate with department management to develop financial plans
  • Analyze the performance of support functions for departments such as human resources and make recommendations for improvement

Skills and Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in a leadership role, personal or business
  • 5+ years' experience in the Construction sector, preferred but not required
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ethical, honest, and humble
  • Effective decision making skills
  • Experience with developing budgets and writing business plans
