Full Job Description
Centauri is seeking a GEOINT Imagery Scientist to provide technical advisory services to a Customer program office that is developing the next-generation of space and ground system architecture, hardware, and software solutions.
Utilize Geospatial Information Systems to perform geospatial analysis and assessments. Produce visual products and reports.
Collaborate with industry scientists and analysts to explore and develop new operational concepts (CONOPs), mission threads, and architectures to solve some of the most complex intelligence and defense problems.
Review data sets and analyses to support advanced imaging processing algorithm development.
Use scripting languages such as JAVA, Python, and SQL to write scripts to manipulate data and automate complex workflows.
Review, assess, and monitor TCPED activities.
Provide subject matter expertise for system enterprise activities, including integration and test oversight.
Develop training material and provide training for new systems and capabilities that are being deployed
BS/MS in GIS, Mathematics, Engineering, Cartography, Spectroscopy, Physics, Chemistry, or Computer Science required; Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum five years of IC experience with TCPED activities.
Experience with spectral data analyses and image processing tools and applications in a development and operations environment.
NRO satellite space and ground experience preferred.
NGA image scientist or image analysist experience preferred.
Experience with intelligence reporting.
Self-starter who can partner with multiple teammates.
Excellent interpersonal communications, writing, and briefing skills across multiple organizational levels
