The Role
We are looking for a world-class Business Strategy & Operations Associate for a role on our direct-to-consumer team supporting Sunbit’s Card business. This is an opportunity for a collaborative, customer-centric, and data-driven individual to support a rapidly growing product, key performance verticals, and the company P&L by leading projects and working across the organization to drive growth, scale, efficiency, and an outstanding customer experience. Our team has a broad mandate and is well-resourced while small enough that each individual has true responsibility and makes a meaningful impact.

What You'll Own:

Card Portfolio management, analytics and executive reporting encompassing monthly business reviews, ad hoc analysis, deep dive project retrospectives, and unit economics

Lead the development, implementation, and measurement of Fraud management analytics and process improvements to ensure a positive customer experience and minimize losses. Partner with Data Science leadership and external partners on detection strategy and operations

Conduct business and financial analysis to evaluate performance, determine and prioritize opportunities, and drive successful execution

Design card operating processes end-to-end, creating, optimizing, and automating workflows, identifying and troubleshooting issues

Partner cross-functionally with operations, tech, analytics, marketing, and legal teams, to determine requirements and priorities

Engage with customers, improve the product, and resolve problems

Coordinate and manage projects to successful delivery, on time
What You Bring to the Table:
-
4+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably with experience in a fast-growing consumer startup (fintech a plus!), consulting, sales, or consumer financial services

2+ years in a strategic role focused on Credit Card analytics, usage, fraud, and remediation
-
Strong quantitative/analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into meaningful insights that drive successful business outcomes

Knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn

Intelligent, go-getter, ambitious, self-motivated, and hungry for success

Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills

Experience cultivating credibility by building strong, collaborative relationships with internal/external business partners and peers

Organized and able to manage ambiguity and complexity

How We Pay:
- We believe in paying fairly and equitably based on a number of factors including but not limited to previous experience, relevant work history, interview performance, geographical location, internal equity, and expected level of ownership

We are targeting a base salary of $105,000 - $115,000 for this role

This role will also be granted company equity via stock options
