Responsible for sales account management by promoting, selling and supporting TiPS alarm management software and lifecycle solutions to process industry enterprises. A comprehensive understanding of the Alarm Management discipline will be the foundation of the representative’s activities. Account management will be through direct engagement and support of external partners.
II. Primary Job Responsibilities
Account management responsibilities include selling TiPS solutions, pursuing leads, utilizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM to forecast sales, penetrate assigned corporate accounts, support partner activities, travel as sales situations dictate, perform demonstrations of LogMate software, deliver presentations, scope solutions, create proposals, develop solution architecture diagrams and collaborate with prospects to develop justification.
The representative will be required to manage and review sales documentation, process purchase orders, resolve issues related to delivery of solutions, and monitor projects.
Develop knowledge of Miller Heiman Strategic Selling methodology, Alarm Management best practices and associated disciplines,related industry regulations, standards and guidelines, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and thorough understanding of TiPS software to facilitate demonstrations.
With respect to licensees, the representative will foster relationships, monitoring for the expansion or contraction of unit operations within the licensee’s enterprise searching for new opportunities.
The representative will also support Marketing with feedback on products, event support, collaboration on strategy and tactics.

Understanding of motivational drivers, business and interpersonal, leading to the procurement of a software license or service.
Previous experience in professional sales position, professional marketing position, a software telesales team member or business administration degree.
Public presentation skills evidenced by an actual presentation and, if available, a supporting slide deck or other type presentation material.
Ability to relate features and functions to needs of and benefits to clients.
Previous experience providing technical support for software or other product.
Fearlessness in calling and meeting face to face new prospects.
Highly desired skills include:
Understanding of common sales common account management and systematic sales approach (e.g. Miller Heiman Strategic Selling).
Work experience in the process industries; knowledge of Alarm Management.
Understanding of IT and/or process IT architectures.
Seminar training, work experience, or college course work in business law.
Evident knowledge of relational database software.
Experienced in business traveler, foreign and domestic; current passport.
Language skills other than English.
Bachelor’s degree, or
Associate’s degree and experience in process automation, or
Comparable experience in process automation, or
Five years or more in inside sales process automation.
Ability to travel, legally, in the US or abroad 15-25% of the year, present sales level technical information to groups, ability to read and analyze legal & commercial level documentation, create business level communication conforming good grammar practices, and work in an environment requiring high volume of calls and emails.
Evident knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point and Word software.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Current passport or legally able to obtain a passport.
