Outside Foodservice Equipment Sales Representative

If you are an extremely motivated individual with a passion for sales then this could be the job for you. We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative who enjoys providing excellent customer service and closing deals, to work remotely as an important cog in a sales wheel. The ideal candidate will have experience in an outside sales position in commercial restaurant equipment and/or food and beverage management experience. Ideally, the candidate will have experienced large territory management covering a number of states and all this entails.

The territory will be El Paso, TX as well as Albuquerque, NM and surrounding areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develop and grow sales in all segments of business that are associated with the territory by:

  • Taking pride and ownership of customers and the territory
  • Developing strong relationships with End Users, Consultants and Design Dealers.
  • Identify and procure potential clients utilizing networking, prospecting, existing database, referrals and cold calling methods
  • Managing multiple prospects through various stages of the sales cycle simultaneously
  • Develop an efficient territory route system to optimize time spent and minimize travel time. Overnight travel may be required to cover the entire territory
  • Maintain detailed notes on each call, noting activities and time spent as well as conversation follow ups in a CRM database
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and follow up is a must.
  • Experienced and Fluent in MS Office(Salesforce is a plus)
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, develop alternative solutions, and use solid reasoning.
  • Must be a team player, prompt, consistent, dependable, with a professional demeanor and a positive attitude
  • Must have working automobile, ability to travel around the territory, valid driver’s license
