Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to join our team in support of federal government projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions that meet the unique needs of various federal agencies. This role requires a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and effective solutions.
Job Responsibilities

Design and develop customized SharePoint solutions that align with federal government requirements and security standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements, translating them into technical specifications and design documents.

Lead the development, configuration, and deployment of SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and other components to address business needs.

Implement user interface designs and ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience across SharePoint sites.

Integrate SharePoint solutions with other systems and applications, ensuring data consistency and interoperability.

Develop custom web parts, applications, and solutions using SharePoint technologies (SharePoint Framework, PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.).

Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers, assisting in troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Perform thorough testing of SharePoint solutions to ensure high quality and reliable performance.

Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint and industry trends, recommending best practices and improvements to enhance system functionality and efficiency.

Collaborate with security teams to ensure SharePoint solutions comply with federal government security policies and standards.

Participate in the evaluation of new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance development processes and capabilities.
Required Skill/Qualifications

Extensive experience as a SharePoint Developer, with a proven track record of designing and implementing SharePoint solutions.

In-depth knowledge of SharePoint architecture, capabilities, and features, including SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.

Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, PowerShell, and HTML/CSS.

Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development and SharePoint REST APIs.

Strong understanding of federal government security standards and compliance requirements.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer, Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate, or equivalent, are a plus.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
