Our medical communications client based in New Jersey is actively seeking an experienced Sr Graphic Designer or Art Director for a full time permanent opportunity. Individuals at both levels will be considered and salary depends upon level of experience.

Full time permanent staff position (client not open to freelance)
Position is based onsite not remote

Provide forward-thinking creative concepts for original graphic design and development of traditional print (roundtable guides, at a glance guides, meeting materials) and electronic media (PowerPoint (PPT) presentations, graphs, charts, tables).
Engage in creative collaboration across the organization to develop and enhance content.
Format Power Point slides in accordance to client standards, product style guides, etc.
Triage work to freelance designers on an as needed basis, work closely with editorial and accounts to manage timelines and pipeline of products.
Develop and create innovative concepts and designs in keeping with project scope: strategic positioning, business requirements, timelines and budgets.
Ability to move from conceptual design to web production for company projects
This positions focus is on design.
Ability to work in a team setting with management, inner department and clients.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or related field
4+years of graphic design experience in a Medical Education, Medical Communications or Pharmaceutical Advertising agency setting
Strong PowerPoint design experience is required
Proven knowledge of QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator and other creative-based software programs
Pharmaceutical Product work experience
Strong PowerPoint experience required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 i.e. (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and GUI design
Strong conceptual abilities
Passion for the creative process
Excellent time management and work prioritizing experience to meet deadlines
Excellent communications skills both verbal & written
Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team environment
Positive work ethic
Strong presentation skills
