SUMMARY

Performs critical leadership to ensure Frontier’s success in the achievement of sales goals, profit and loss targets, and optimal performance of Sales team. Creates and implements short and long range sales development programs targeted toward existing and new markets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages Sales and corresponding strategies for North America.
Leads the development and execution of regional in-market events designed to generate, monitor and convert sales leads into revenue-generating closed sales.
Oversee the development and implementation of sales strategies and customer plans.
Prioritizes changing demands, multi-tasks, and creatively meets tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
Deliver annual objectives for growth.
Establish best practices to enable a high-performing sales team. Provide leadership, goals and support to maximize sales team effectiveness.
Provides leadership in the sales services and data analytics team to increase revenue and profits by providing field sales with informed, data-driven analytical support.
Participates in critical decisions with senior management team and builds effective relationships with company, client, and partner executives including broker management.
Develop and manage sales operating budgets; lead sales input in forecasting
Represent the voice of the customer and advocate for customer needs across the Co-op.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages members of the sales team. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these individuals. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training staff members; planning, assigning, and directing duties and responsibilities; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining staff members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Takes responsibility for safety within department and actively assesses hazards in their department and finds solutions to those hazards.

Reinforces a safety culture: leads by example, reminds employees to work safely, praises good behavior and safe practices, encourages suggestions, communicates consequences for unsafe acts, holds employees accountable, disciplines employees when warranted.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in sales, marketing, business administration, or related field, from four-year college or university; and 10 or more years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree and experience in the food industry preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret such items as highly detailed professional, scientific, and technical journals, and legal documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from both inside and outside the company. Ability to write speeches, articles, or memos using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to such groups as top management, boards of directors, or the general public.

QUANTITATIVE SKILLS

Ability to comprehend the most complex financial principles. Ability to use a computer to create highly customized spreadsheets, charts and reports, and interpret data. Ability to analyze balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and the most detailed types of financial documents, and apply information to make long-term, strategic decisions.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent communications, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Analytical skills.
Ability to prioritize, delegate, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel programs; familiarity with other business software.
