This position will work closely with sales and marketing management to develop and improve CooperSurgical Medical Device Professional Education programs. This position will work closely with HCP, educational organizations, academic centers, medical associations and societies in order to set and maintain an excellent quality level for our Professional Education programs.

Strategic Skills:
The PE Associate Director will develop Subject Matter Experts (SME) to become stronger advocates and excellent trainers for CooperSurgical Medical Devices. The PE Associate Director will help recruit and vet SMEs, according to their expertise, community standing, speaking quality and training rigor.

The PE Associate Director will help define and maintain agreements with SME with the legal team.

In collaboration with Societies and Academic centers, the PE Associate Director will define and execute a strategy aiming at transferring and integrating the core Physician Education program into Residency programs, Fellowship programs and post-graduate courses.

Plans for training and long-term society and academic centers integration strategies of new indications and new products will be defined and presented by the PE Associate Director.

Collaboration:
Professional Education strategy will be customized per target product. Specific programs shall be developed to increase their engagement level focusing on onboarding, competency and confidence development.

As programs are launched, follow-up with sales management shall be organized to track event uptake- in terms of leads, attendance and evaluation.

The PE Associate Director will work to implement a strong digital communication program to further increase our success and nurture our leads with the Marketing Communications team.

The PE Associate Director will work in close collaboration with the Professional Education Coordinator who is responsible for the organization of all PE programs.

The PE Coordinator will work with the Compliance and Finance teams for the accurate reporting of Physician Payments as dictated by the Sunshine Act.

Essential Functions:
Must be able to engage Key Opinion Leaders to learn about the landscape of OB/Gyn as a confident knowledgeable leader.

Responsible for building an expanding group of Subject Matter Experts on CooperSurgical Medical Devices; confirming their beliefs and developing them as strong advocates and societies liaisons with initial and ongoing trainings.

Building a series of prof-ed events both didactic and hands-on that can be utilized throughout the country by SME speakers.

Assist in developing complaint materials used for professional educational events.

Develop budgets for anticipated engagement events, professional education courses and related programs, and manages that budget throughout the year.

Collaborates with Product Managers, Marcom team members, and Sales teams to ensure efficient planning and execution of events.

Additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA or Master’s in Marketing or Education is preferred.

5-10 years of experience building relationships with physicians in either a sales, marketing or professional education role.

Available to travel 50% and work outside normal business hours

Must be able to review and understand scientific studies and be able to articulate the findings to physicians

Must be comfortable and have professional conduct in an exam room during a medical procedure

Must be self-motivating and manage their own calendar

Understanding of the workings of a physician office is highly desirable

Passing of background check which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction, history, educational and driving records.
