Description & Requirements
The Manager- Manufacturing - Execution reports to the Head of KHMS Development & Execution and provides manufacturing performance analysis and drives capability assessment across all manufacturing factories throughout North America.
Develop/Maintain Manufacturing and S&OP network routines to support business contingency
Assist in the execution of Manufacturing routines/rituals (Conformance to plan- CTP (Supply Chain Losses)- Unplanned losses – OEE- CAPEX execution and run rate updates)
Lead all OEE driven routines including weekly plant validations- weekly KPI tracking- monthly MBO KPI tracking and validation- and all other ad hoc OEE data requests received by the team.
Lead all OEE data improvement initiatives through facilitation of cross-functional teams including IT and engineering to ensure data is being represented accurately and consistently across all NA facilities.
Develop and create new OEE dashboards to drive real-time performance monitoring for all NA facilities.
Perform and lead semi-annual KHMS facility audits including providing detailed coaching and guidance for facility staff.
Drive process improvements for all 8 KHMS pillars by facilitating content improvement discussions with pillar guardians in all sites along with central pillar sponsors
Lead semi-annual KHMS workshops including facilitating and building all necessary content- logistics of the event- and all other activities required for the workshops
Align and execute factory Performance Improvement Plans
Coordinate full Capacity Assessment (collect volume from S&OP- review volume split between sites/lines/co-pack- work with S&OP- Factories and Engineering for solutions to cover demand)
Prepare materials for Zone operations review for Head of NA Operations and Head of NA Manufacturing
Prepare materials for the Monthly Performance Reviews for the US & Global Manufacturing teams
Support team members in the practical application of the Key Manufacturing practices (COO presentations- Field trip- etc.)
Share best practices for manufacturing performance improvement (OEE- Unplanned losses- CTP- etc.) across NA factories
Take ownership for standardization and simplification of Manufacturing KPI’s reporting;
Develop training materials and provide training sessions
Communicate with Manufacturing Leadership- Plant Managers- CI and Engineering Managers- S&OP Planning and Financial analysts to coordinate projects and initiatives
Record and maintain accurate record of measurable statistics including- but not limited to- budget (spending- operations- research); number of employees supervised – directly and indirectly; sales volume; cost of purchases; value of inventories controlled; goods produced
Focus on achieving results and setting challenging goals
Process-oriented – experience in- or working with process mapping and process analysis
Knowledge in all aspects of analysis- design- planning- testing- documentation and production implementation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
