The position will coordinate production at various manufacturing locations and take ownership of inventory, buying and replenishment of our finished goods warehouses. The Production Planner will also be involved in monitoring inventory, purchasing, warehousing activities to maintain and expedite the supply chain. Primary Duties:
- Ensures development and accountability to master schedule & production plan for manufacturing.
- Manages and proactively plans production considering warehouse, manufacturing and customer constraints, all the while driving for cost effective improvements and solutions and meeting demand plans.
- Supports and communicates clearly and timely throughout the cycle of product development to product delivery to weekly replenishment, to ensure alignment with Sales and Operations.
- Makes decisions regarding the movement, storage and processing of inventory with focus on the most efficient levels for full supply chain including plants, warehouses and toll manufacturers.
- Recommends and Leads initiatives to ensure continuity of supply throughout the operations to achieve uninterrupted supply of quality products. Performs benchmark studies regarding alternative, more cost-efficient supply chain scenarios. Evaluates and find cost saving synergies across the entire supply chain.
- Coaches and mentors Supply Chain team to foster collaboration and improve technical skills accountability and engagement with local technical/commercial stakeholders and to establish communication channels between the cross functional teams.
Minimum Required Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience encompassing supply chain production planning, inventory, forecasting, demand planning
- Production Supervisory experience within a beverage manufacturing environment
- Previous experience with analytical/business intelligence tools and systems. Good analytical, statistical, communication, presentation and system skills with thorough attention to detail; Hands- on with ability to be strategic.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications
- Ability to work effectively and collaborate with all levels from production worker through management and within team environments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
