CME is a family owned HVAC company based out of Rancho Cucamonga that has been servicing most of Southern California for over 50 years. CME is seeking a professional experienced commercial HVAC Service Technician who can represent CME’s standard of quality customer service. Applicant must meet the following minimum requirements:
- MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF DIAGNOSTIC SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF LARGE COMMERCIAL EQUIPMENT 5TON-50TON
- EXPERIENCE IN CHILLERS, COOLING TOWERS, BOILERS AND REFRIGERATION A PLUS
- Valid Driver's License and clean DMV record
- EPA Certified (universal)
- Flexible hours required, including overtime, weekend and on-call rotations
- Must be able to work on school, military and government properties.
- Background check, drug screen, physical required for all technicians.
- Ability to independently and efficiently diagnose and repair commercial units 5ton - 50ton
- Must have excellent skills in customer communication, problem solving, critical thinking and presentation
- Must be able to physically lift, hold, carry, maneuver a minimum of 50 lbs without assistance.
- Required to work from ladders and high locations
- Must be able to navigate electronics: email, mobile aps, dispatching/asset software, etc.
Additional qualifications:
- Knowledge and ability to perform preventative and general maintenance tasks on all commercial HVAC systems
- Well-versed in servicing and repairing package units, split systems, pumps, motors, compressors, fan coils, valves, piping
- Well-versed in installing, programing and servicing VFDs and EMS equipment.
- Ductwork and Air Balance experience, a plus.
- Strong background in reading and interpreting instructions and safety procedures associated with HVAC processes
- Proven ability to read schematics, drawings and plans
- Knowledge and understanding of safety on jobsites and using hand/power tools
- Willingness to learn, advance and adapt to the evolution of the industry.
- NATE Certification a plus
